Just come back into this project

Got some colour down on each level and its starting to come together a bit, my plans now are to add some apple trees to the rear and a statue in the courtyard.

Some drybrushing on the gravel areas and some more greenery around the edges.

to strengthen up the polystyrene wall i ended up painting on some watered down polyfilla which seems to have hardened it up nicely.

im also toying with the idea of adding wallpaper to the interiors.

Soooo i abandoned spraying the polystyrene and im going to opt for airbrushing the walls without primer, i had resonable results on some previous ruins so i know what ill get, i did however paint all the walls with watered down PVA in the hopes of reinforcing it a bit.

MDF primer on the chateau so she’s ready for paint once im fully gritted.

I cut some cooking matches down for the borders of what will be flower beds and gritted them. My intention is to use some very fine grit with no large pieces to simulate gravel on the grounds.

So far so good …….

so far ..:D

Sooo another buildingaling, same format this time….back of old wardrobe for the base ( which incidentally i have cut to exactly replace the shelves in my display cabinet as a terrain piece/diorama..ra)

iv marked out some area for statues and flower beds and cut some expanded polystyrene for walls, these im sure will be fragile as fu….fragile things so my plan is to paint them with pva once in place, im going to spray the mdf kit with plasticoat primer (allegedly for MDF) which im sure will melt the bejesus out of the polystyrene…so will the pva protect it….will the project survive….tune in for the next episode of…….

Dun Dun daaaaaaaaaaa
