Tanks, but that's it for the moment
Hey, got the full 15 assembled, and most of a tankette too. Mussolini's supply chain worked about as well as it did historically, and I ended up with two right treads. Still, neat teeny tank. Anyway, waiting for the tank tread, a can each of Army Painter Desert Yellow and Skeleton Bone, and a bunch of 20mm bases. 'Til then, well, I have Blood Bowl Necromantic to paint for the 7s league.Don't Forget Your Canteens, Men
Did a few more squaddies. Almost got the full 15, but I forgot to put the canteens on them, which, given desert, seems important to have.
Two I made a point of doing a bit differently; making one left handed and putting a grenade in another's hand. I think the grenade fellow will be my Star in NUTS!; should be easy to pick out on a battlefield.Light Machine Gunners
Was my birthday today, so got distracted, but finished assembling the LMG team. I stole the support from the larger gun from the command sprue, and then loaded my loader up with pouches and filled his hand with the stuff that most looked like magazines. Good enough for a game like NUTS!, I think.Form Up!
Just got this box and quickly putting together my squad. Hoo boy is that book written interestingly. After some careful reading, I need a leader and NCO with sub machine guns, a light machine gunner with an assistant, and another 11 squaddies for the unit. About half done, I started on the LMGunner before calling it for the night. Gonna try to just do this fast and dirty.
