About the Project
I've decided to build a winter based army and I've never previously done a German army, so lets invade the Soviet Union or have a minor disagreement with the allies in a Belgian wood.

Painted and posed objective markers
I just noticed that he has a collar on! will need to paint that in
Just surrender and leave the kit piled out the side of the house
6x Gerrycan (videos) with an MG42 an STG44 and a geweher 43 all smooshed together into an objective marker
2 types of panzerfaust and a couple of tellermines... should be enough to ruin a Russian tank or two

Recce Platoon advances through the forest
Armoured infantry ponders slowly forward clearing the woods in a dismounted fashion
the sole survivor of an ambush tries desperately to recover his mate
one group of vets have raided a house for white bedsheets to turn into coveralls
the 3 man medic unit which will confuse people with only 2 bases
With the panzer III out of fuel even the crew have to walk
And here draws near the ending of this project! thanks for following along and please all express your thanks to the coding in the project system that misinterprets the metadata in the images and tries to correct the orientation but somehow always gets it wrong… sorry about that, pester OTT people about it. (fixed now thanks to buggeroff)
I’m properly happy with how this lot has turned out. It’s my first attempt at a winter army and it came out really well. I could have more wintering putting on the models themselves, you know how snow and frost sticks to everything, eg the coats, boots and helmets etc. but im not gonna do that, this is good enough!
All I have to do is see what changes BA 3.0 brings and decide whether 3 mortars is a good idea or not. either way, its good to go as a recce force and will also be able to be used for chain of command as infantry with lovely set dressing.
