About the Project
With this project I Start my first adventure in historical war-gaming. I start with the "band of brothers" starter box of bolt action. My first models: US airborne.

Priming + Shading the models with airbrush
I primed them first with olive drab paded from AK real colours. This paint is solvent based so thinned with thinner.
Then I made a wash of scale75 raw umber (so mixed with a lot of water)
Making beach bases
The idea is to making the bases like ripple sand. Iff they just set foot on the fresh wet sand of Normandy.
I use model paste to creat this effect. Model paste is used to add 3d effect or thick acrylic paint.
You could even add a color to it.
