Shipping Colors
Modelstuff from Supper HobbyFinally the colors that I intend of using for my ships arrived. I also decided to give my self an edge getting a Destroyer. Now I hope that the hellugrau willl reprenest Schnellboot weiss
Since its a scale model it might be a bit fiddly. But hey, who does´nt like a challenge, its part of the hobby right? Also it seems to be a popular model to get amongst Cruel Seas foks

While waiting for some shipcolor from AK Interactive to arrive I decided to get the airsupport uppen and runing. Small so it went fast with Ammo Mig Black Primer, Statin Varnish and their range of greens. The bottom is painted using ther hellblau colors and making use of their heavy Neutral wash before sealing it of with matt varnish
Vosper Paint Trails and mistakes
The Vallejo Dark Sea color turned out to be way to dark, It seems more like a Dunkelgrau color and not very British. Also Either Im not used to using streaking effects or it dries out to fast on these small model. I suspect the first.
Well it wont win contests but its not plastic grey on the table, and I know what .not to do on the S-Boats
The effects on the haul are made using streaking effects from Ammo Mig and white spirit
