About the Project
This is my Samurai project I stated a few years ago and will be doing for a few more years to come. This is not only miniature painting but conversions, terrain, and rules. As well as some other things I am sure that I am interested as well as inspiration. I hope you will enjoy my journey into the world of Samurai Wargaming.

Pirate captain for feudal Japan
I just finished up what I will be using for Test of Honour as my pirate captain. I just need a crew and a ship ? I really didn’t think this through did I , Doh!
Muted down the bare wood color
I muted down the the bright craft stick after I distressed the gate house by making a stain wash .
Trust me it was to bright for the table top but the camera made it look ok.
Next I will add some green to where the boards meet the earth.
Painting up the wooden fort
Finally getting some paint on the wooden fort
Here are two photos of my wooden wall sections. Before and after distressing. I am liking the distressed look a lot. I may come in with some more scorched marks. Any thoughts?
I am trying to give it a chard wood look that was common in feudal Japan at the time. It acted as a fire retardant as well as a insect repellent.
Getting some painting done this Halloween

Baba Nobuharu
This is what I have painted so far for my Baba Nobuharu clan.
I have decided that I am going to do all the basing at once and I am waiting on decals that I have been told that may take some time ?
Assembling more troops.
Well not as many as I wanted about half of what I intended to do but that is my fault. I put on some old Samurai classics “HaraKiri” 1962 (not that crap remake) “Ran” and then “Seven Samurai” for inspiration but let’s just say I was watching movies instead of assembling models. I still got some work done though ?Rivets on the gate house doors
I used a 1/8in hole punch and placed a 1/16thin hole punch on top. Easy but affective ?
