First two test pieces for some Soviet Airborne, wearing the early blue coveralls, a nice look for serving alongside partisans…

A new Artillery Observer for the desert…

Like most German Generals of WW2, I never seem to have enough soldiers… so I painted some more.

One last rifle section in tunics to join the ‘standard Summer 44’ Germans.

Thay seems to complete the Summer 44 German infantry, given a large base to which the troops in smocks and zeltbahns can be added.

Of course… nothing is ever really finished.

An old ‘shelf queen’, sat waiting for a year or three, is finally done…

A Fallschirmjäger crewed Flak 36 8.8cm…

Another finished ‘Normandy’ style Fallschirmjäger rifle squad using AB Figures…

Three figures from the AB Fallschirmjäger Tank Riders set, based up to use as an MG team…

Utilising one of the figures from the new AB Fallschirmjäger tank riders pack as a new FJ officer for Normandy…

First up, a new ETO44 German platoon leader, using one of the figures from the new DAK Officers pack from AB Figures.

Gives the guy a nice veteran look using the DAK model and painting him up for Europe…

• Next was a quick attempt at the brown/green version of the amoeba camouflage suit on two AB Soviet snipers…

A few more AB DAK… the new command set and a converted radio operator and spotter base.

The Radio Operator was an MG Loader who was given a radio and new webbing equipment, while the spotter was given a new head and an MP40.

Some more Germans, can be for various places from Africa to OZAK.

All converted from the AB Figures winter German range by changing heads to plain helmets or soft caps.

Another AB winter conversion… this time a German wearing a Ushanka fur hat…
