Have A Look At The Newest Board Game From Warlord Games And Their Involvement With The Kidney Foundation | Stand 2-594

Justin has a chat with Colin from Warlord Games about what they’ve brought with them to UKGE 2024.  As always they’ve brought a lot of the beautiful Bolt Action with them but this time they’ve brought something new along too.  Their newest venture is a Bolt Action board game where much like Bolt Action players go head to head in a World War Two battle but this time there’s resource management to deal with on top of the battle!  Warlord are also working with The Kidney Foundation who have been working on Duncan’s band Of Brothers for a few years and their absolutely stunning board packed full of character shows their love for both World War Two and Bolt Action.  Check out Warlord Games website here.

Justin heads over to the entrance of the NEC to visit the vikings.  A massive encampment has been set up this year with a bunch of different time periods of vikings living as they would have in history and putting on some amazing set piece battles.

Are you going to talk to Lorescape on stand 2-991? I was there yesterday and their hex terrain looked interesting, I even got a free sample!

Another great day’s coverage by all the team. Thanks so much guys!
Although I’m disappointed that Warren has been so scarce.
Don’t get me wrong, Ben and Gerry are wonderful, but even combined, they still lack the sheer glamour and sex appeal of Warzan!
@warzan – get back in front of the camera big lad!

I agree its not the same without going back to the booth to see Warzan talking about stuff. Sat watching tons of repeated adverts then often get a pre-recorded clip of Ben or Gerry. It was much better when they had people dropping into the booth for a chat.

Totally mate. The whole thing was very slick this year, very professional, and kudos to the guys for all the hard work that goes into doing that. But part of me misses the older raw format, with the chaos and the things going wrong and the guys in the Booth adlibbing to make up for it, and the interaction with the folks on the chat . @warzan – we want more Back To The Booth next year!

but then when we did that last year we got told that people wanted to see what the people had brought to the expo and not us talking the fish tank.
So you can’t please everyone.

Aye, I get you – I preferred the older format, but majority rules and all that. I suppose as a compromise, you could just livestream the piss up afterwards – now that could be very interesting.

I’ll be keeping an eye on Colony 87. I love Crooked Dice minis but I’ve never been tempted by 7TV.

So much going on! Sign on the times though that there are no giveaways I wonder if this is due to the rising costs etc. Great Blog though, thanks for sharing it!
