Bad Comet Games: Wild Serengeti Board Game #UKGE2021

Were joined by Bad Comet to talk about their 1-4 player game, Wild Serengeti. Gerry got to catch up with them earlier in the week!

Win by making the best documentary, use tv trickery to fake your scenes! There are also more settings planned for the future. Blue Planet perhaps?

Watch out for the Kickstarter launching 18th August!

UKGE Official Kids Roleplaying Zone #UKGE2021

One of the great bits of this event is the fact that everyone, regardless of age, can get stuck into some tabletop games. The Kids Roleplaying Zone is perfect for that.

Within the Kids Roleplaying Zone, the kids can sit down and play some fun games. Sessions are short and allow them to dive into the wonderful world of roleplaying for the first time.

First expo for a few years I haven’t attended.

With the pandemic and what looks to be a lighter schedule of exhibitors – I just didn’t see the point.

Missing it though

Expo organisers were very indecisive about the restrictions, so I skipped it this year. Hopefully the world will be normal-ish next year.

Highlight of the day Justin wondering around in vambraces he bought doing interviews like that is completely normal.

Game of the day was Hit the Silk. I love the creative concept behind that. It is the sort of game you come up with on a Friday night after a few pints.

Unlike previous years, there’s nothing leapt out and said “Buy me!”
