AdeptiCon 2018 Live Blog – Part 2!

WYSIWYG Games has an awesome diorama, created by the super talented, Dave Taylor. If this doesn't get you pumped to play the Planet of the Apes Miniatures Board Game, I don't know what will.

There's never a lack of players for Space Hulk. There's just something about playing on such a big board that draws you into the game!

I'm truly speechless. Every time you think you couldn't possibly see anything better in the cases, you do! I can't wait for the ceremony to find out who's masterpieces are who's.

Just like more is more, sometimes bigger is better, like these epic battles that have become tradition at Adepticon.

The second floor of the convention center is full of even more gaming. While roaming the halls I stumbled on some heated matches of Bloodbowl.

One of the local gaming clubs put together a huge game of Starship Troopers. They tweaked the original rule set and made it a cooperative gaming experience where the players are working together as the military trying to fend off the bugs.

There's no surprise that Gianna, Lloyd & I love our DUST, but it makes me happy to see others love it too. While scoping out the games, I found a familiar face at the tables, Paolo Parente!

One of the highlights at Adepticon is the Saturday night, Armies on Parade, where gamers proudly display their amazing displays. It's obvious that these individuals put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into these stunning displays. Enjoy!

It was really hard just to decide what to look at first last night. These displays were amazing!

Do not underestimate the power of gribble goodness! Just look at the paint jobs on these!

There's games of every flavor being played in open gaming, and I stumbled on group trying to fight their way through a hoard of zombies!

There’s just something magical about gaming on the high seas. Folks were really enjoying the large battle of Sail Power up in the open gaming area.

I think we could've spent HOURS looking at the 40K armies on parade last night. Just amazing.

I had to take one more quick look at the Crystal Brush cases before the ceremony this afternoon at 3pm. Who do you think will win it?
