The Baron’s War retinue

About the Project
This is my Baron's war retinue from Footsore miniatures. It consists of the prebuilt retinue with a few extra models added to provide some narrative flavour. I have also started work on some terrain to build up a gaming board to begin a narrative campaign.

In conclusion, for now.
This has been a fun project and nowhere near as intimidating as trying to paint a large scale army. I did not have much prior experience with metals but enjoyed working on these. All were primed black with a white dry brush. I started using contrast paints but by the end I was exclusively using army painter speed paints. The decals were a bit of learning curve as I had somehow manged to avoid ever using them before. All given a varnish finish as I intend to use these a great deal and they will inevitably pick some damage along the way.
I have started building some mdf scenery and terrain to build up a suitable table for some narrative campaigns. The project will be updated in time.
