What a Tanker! is a fun and fast game of WWII tank combat which focusses on the players taking command of one (or more) tanks and fighting their way through the battlefields of WWII.
Quick to learn but eternally challenging, What a Tanker! challenges you to take the role of a tank commander and to lead your crew to victory.

Is there a list of the tanks that have stats in the rules?
Yes
So few models, so much fun, so much depth and so many opportunities. I´ll try that, just like the other TFL set of rules. My retailer will have it in stock presently (if he doesn´t, he´ll get his just deserts)
What certain people might want to know is, whether it´s possible to drive through houses with a Panzerzahn.
Only thing left to aquire apart from targets is a group of tankaniacs to play with and against. Everything boils down to aquiring.
P.S.: Really do hope I win that give-away from Salute. At least I aimed!
there is rules in the book for going though buildings…zoom
That was fabulous – I see this as a great way of getting non-wargamers into the genre simply because the rules are straightforward and the game is fast-paced. And a lot of fun, especially with jammy dice rolls.
I was really interested in seeing how this played and delighted to this Lets Play pop up this afternoon.
This looks so much fun with simple mechanics and simple rules but so much tactical depth – Just got my order in and can’t wait to get some games
Thanks lads. Was waiting for this to see the game played out to determine if I wanted it along with Chain of Command. Just put my order in for Tanker and CoC for a little plane ride to Canada.
Was waiting to see a let’s play of this. Now I’m pretty sure I want to play. What was the scale of tanks used in the video? They seem a little big for 1/56th?
28mm from Bolt Action I believe.
The rules should work for any scale. Try 6mm on a massive table 😀
i bought some from H&R – 50-60p per tank!
The latest H&R stuff is very nice though would be more tempted at 10mm
Lard for breakfast. What a treat. Another great game. Just got my rules and counters for a weekend try out.
And you can use a 50p…!!
Great fun, I have ordered the rules, they should be here soon. Looking forward to 28mm and I am going to try 10mm for a travel game!
I ordered the rules and the tokens today – hopefully Rich’s dog has not been gnawing on my handy template 🙂
One for the best videos i enjoyed here. Yes it took bloody long, but what a gripping battle. Well done 2FL for these great rules, and watching you guys laugh and enjoy, it shows what a game should be. “I`m all tanked out”…
“That was a paint round?!!”
“Reload you idiot! Reload!!!”
One of the great scenes from Kelly’s Heroes re-enacted for us here on the tabletop. Thanks @dracs !! 😉 😉 😛
As with Chain fo command, What a tanker! looks simple ye elegant and super fun to play. Thanks for these let’s plays, I might get myself a copy of the game 😀
@dignity your “Stug ilfe” comment fell on deaf ears in the studio but some of us were paying attention. *tank wargame gang sign*
You don’t see many games where there can be so much fun and laughing. Kudos to TFL for another great rules set.
Wow! I really enjoyed watching this one. Just a quarter in I paused the vid and placed an order.
Great Fun for anyone that loves tanks!
(I wonder if there will be stats for modern tanks as well?)
Yeah, this is for me. I REALLY have to stop watching these “Let’s Play”s.
