If your interested in small games @oriskany there were some amazing clashes around the oasises near the Chad boarder between Free French, SAS, LRDG and the Italian version of the LRDG. For once the Italian’s had really good kit.

That is a great point @dorthonion. A lot of modern historians do not describe the sword and shield tactic as deployed by Rommel fully. The AT guns were deployed in a long wide V formation. Just a handle full of 88s form the apex, then along each leg of the V the 37mm were generally [...]
Bizarrely I used to live in Newton Stewart, one of the places they filmed it. Not sure why they went with South West Scotland, but [...]
Yes well i’ve heard it called other things sometime, it has something to do with not many females on a man o war LOL. Although in truth some ships did carry the first mates wife as a nurse and general sorting out the younger ensigns etc. Dismissing the idea that women serving on ships in [...]
I can give you whippersnapper, a nineteen year old and you were just a twinkle in your dads eye. LOL. Yes I had come to that same sort of thought myself, though the current Mrs Goddard is a mean gamer and demon roller of the six and the one when needed. So I will never [...]

I picked up the FUBAR tokens a couple of years ago they’re not new. I have used them a lot in my games mainly for knocked out vehicles. A token is a token, use them how you like. I have quite a few from Litko
I bought FG a few years ago. It’s a great program. The one thing missing is voice chat. Otherwise it’s pretty comprehensive and can work as a minimal “roll some dice and wing it” set up all the way through using it as a fully integrated rules package. The most important thing to consider is [...]

This looks great.
Sprues or frames call them what you like, just don’t throw them away as they make great ruins. Check out the Salute 2014 vid on here when they visited the 4 ground stand if you want to see what can be done.
I’ve always fancied living up that way, but Oban is about as far as my wee Weegie heart would let me live from the big smoke. Unfortunately there’s not any real wargaming community in Scotland outside of the cities to speak of (and even then it’s pretty spartan…), but I’m sure there’s the odd club [...]

Oh yes Alkemy was a hot item a few years ago. Then the original company that made the game stopped supporting it. It seems it passed through a few hands until its with this company. The original models are stunning and I have many of them but after that the models look lackluster at best. [...]

Double shifts at Warlord. These are flying out the door!
And this is the one I’ve been waiting for. Time to get my mid-war on. Sorry wallet!
Messing about currently with a little larger piece to brake line of site and for use in other games. This is a dwarves wall giving anyone upon it a higher and better line of site. It will be like the other scatter so far an over grown and obviously frozen look. The next couple will [...]
