Fantasy Flight Games have shown off another of the ships coming in the next wave for X-Wing. Here we have the Jumpmaster 5000 or the Punishing One if you prefer that moniker. See what you think of it here… I won’t pretend that I know much about the world of X-Wing but this looks like a dangerous ship [...]

Those of us who backed Home raiders KS got a cool freebie with our rewards, a nice little fanhunter mini, the quality is amazing, and if the rest reaches the same standards I will definitely be jumping in on this one!
Looks very nice indeed. I’ve been thinking of getting into naval wargaming for a while (both Napoleonic age and WW2) but for WW2 I was thinking of going with the much smaller 1:6000 scale. Given the ranges that these ships can engage at, it makes sense to me to keep the scale as small as [...]

The quality control from Knight Models has been hit or miss in my experience. I’ve purchased over 100 BMG models from them in the past year. One had massive cracks in the entire body of the miniature and had to be replaced, one pack had an entirely WRONG body packed in, and at least three [...]
I never played 7th Sea myself but I bought most of the books to pilfer for ideas for other games. It was really well done and had lots of depth to the world and background. to this day I still use borrowed bits from 7th Sea, especially the secret societies.

West Wind are building on their Incursion range with a whole bunch of Drop Troopers coming in for the Germans. There are some rather awesome models in these sets so it could be worth picking these up for other Weird World War games too… Of course no self respecting Drop Trooper team is going to be deploying into [...]
Building and converting models is my entire hobby, so I’m really pleased to see a series like this, and cant wait to see more.
I love the little tank and walker by the way. Very simple to do, but great little additions, plus they made me laugh .

The Twisted Kickstarter is just looking better and better, I’ve held out for a good six months for the right thing to come around, and as soon as I saw the early sculpts for these I knew this would be something I’d be backing.
The meds are starting to work, the coughing is easing up (less frequent and less violent) and so today I made another blog post https://pinmanminiaturepainter.wordpress.com/2016/02/11/how-to-paint-ghosts/ Feel free to follow my blog (you only need an email address) and also, feel free to request blog topics because I’m useless at thinking up subjects ad so posts [...]
I think the thing is as you point out to each their own. I did not extend the list to say I wanted an argument with onlyoneopinion i just didn’t want people thinking that after all I had said about it I had played it up past what it should have been. He was right [...]
Great video, love to see someone taking the effort on a metal mini rather than complaining that plastics are better to convert. Of coarse superglue isn’t the correct way to base miniatures. I wouldn’t use it nearly as often if it was correct… One thing to watch, certain materials react to superglue, some flocks I’ve [...]
@ecclesiastes – “Love your battlereports on the other thread by the way @oriskany” Thanks, sir! Although I think we’re pretty much done with these, all five battles have now been run in @broadsword ‘s original series. They were pretty close games, too, some with the historical winner coming up short or vice-versa .. but still pretty even [...]
