I see what you mean .. 41k years into the future is bound to have given us some pretty awesome banner technology, stuff we cant even begin to imagine today. Without warning it expands and becomes full size in a matter of milliseconds.
Here’s some new info on how the box sets will be handled for the KS and for retail. We’re going to have 1 Mech Squad (1 medium mech & 2 light mechs) and 1 Heavy Mech box set per race. Each set will come with all weapons and equipment and no pilot cards. This is [...]
Just played my first bolt action mash up. A hq and 2 troop choices per side I took a chaos lord with little load out because of points. And two units of 10 emporia children vs my fiancées Lilith hesperax and two units off 10 wyches. The dice mechanic worked really well giving my misses [...]
I’ll say I’m wrong and you’re right on this one, though on page 5 (of my version) it states Updated Rules which implies ..updated rules, not optional rules. But you are also right about the “optional part” (which I did not read, pg. 63) and I think that makes my point about it being gospel [...]
Trying to stay away from mini games, hard on the bank they have become, but this is just too awesome. Might have to make an rpg storyline just to be able to use it on a table. Yeah that would be cool a sci fi fantasy ice world storyline with the players being hunted by [...]

They’ll get Relics and Warlord Traits for sure, maybe some specific new Psychic Powers as well. I can see them also expanding to Storm Talons and the AA Tanks and there would have to be some form of uber unit, DA got the Deathwing Knights, SM have Centurions so BA I think would be inline [...]
@poosh can you just once in your life actually find out some facts before you post ? From the section titled “Updated Building Rules” in the Strongholds book “The following is therefore a list of optional rules updates that we recommend that you incorporate into your games of Warhammer 40,000 when using fortifications and buildings. One practical point, yes, I know it’s fantasy and you can do as you like, but if it were somewhat practical, then most in the deserts of Arizona would be wearing similar outfits as the terrain dictates. Living in Arizona at present, I am obliged to wear more to cover my skin during the scorching [...]
Ratlings: They’re fat; they’re short; they’re sneaky; they’re cooks. They’re hobbits in space. What I usually do with most of my armies is specialize some of my units for particular enemies. For example, if I’m playing my Space Marines and I know my friend is fielding Orks, I make sure to take a couple [...]
