Been painting off and on for 30+ years ( man I feel ancient , started painting miniatures when they were made from wood!! lol totally joking!!! btw) trust me I have loads of miniatures to try on !!! lol
I like the second to the last pic, but I suppose it would depend on what type of wood you’re trying to portray, how old or worn it is, that kind of thing. The darker would be good for maybe oak, etc., I would think.
@stainless001 you could have disbanded the other character too for more income. It would take a while for him to be available again but it could have been worth while. I have noticed that when you do the research to give a bonus to diplomacy with other Bretonnian factions that you can go very fast to [...]
I’d also like to point out, don’t look too closely at the grass pictures. Theres static grass all over the team…. ALL OVER! I haven’t brushed em off yet @craigwrdouglas: you nailed those team colours. I love the blue on the orks! Also, it looks like you have actual raised letter on there. Where did you [...]
It’s update time! I’m afraid Zelda on the Switch REALLY got in the way of progress… But I managed to pull myself away for a few hours and carried on with the project! Ok, so there aren’t many pictures as I just got a new phone and all of the pictures on the old handset [...]

the Drowned Earth is slick and really well thought out. I haven’t been this interested in a skirmish game on KS since Guild Ball. Very impressed with how complete and well done this game is.
Great Kammandi /Jurassic Park mix and very solid rules!
It may be that new releases in metal for existing guilds continue to be in blisters, but these are later packaged into boxes. They mentioned at SteamCon that beginning with the Farmers it will be a box of 6 then an expansion box of 4 for new teams.

I’m going to have to look into this! Was really looking to start using a wet palette to see what the fuss was about!!
@jamest123 said: @guillotine Really, really nice work mate! Like @suetoniuspaullinus says the sign posts look really authentic! Where did you get the snow from? Will we be seeing some more of this Winter project?? Perhaps some Soviets or U.S maybe?
Thanks! The snow is Deluxe Materials Scenic Snowflakes. What I’ve understood, Woodland Scenics snow scatter is very similar [...]
awesome that is definite relief my family would kill me if I asked for another airbrush next Christmas (especially the wife). Time to do some saving!! End result from both threads is I should get my butt in gear and start practicing!!!
End result from both threads is I should get my butt in gear and start practicing!!! I appreciate all the advice and I have no doubt I will be having more questions on issues and techniques.

Good question! I’d assumed not based on the fact it’s being linked to existing lines – but there’s going to be five different variants, so who knows? I suspect that if there’s enough demand for more similar buildings then there’s no reason it couldn’t happen. I guess it’s difficult to gauge demand for a kit [...]

@commanderkaiser I will post an update about price range asap. But we are still waiting for a few quotes. Thks. Vivien
@ craigwrdouglas – I have found myself doing a lot of “throwing a basecoat” on a few models just to get them started.. my entire Nomad’s faction is pretty much in that boat where only a few models (like 3? 4?) are “done” and the rest are 50-75% done but not yet detailed or highlighed…. [...]

I love the look of this set. That busted church is fantastic.
I hadn’t thought about the blister pack issue when they go to plastics… so since we’ve seen 10 Farmers, that means likely 1 Box of 6 (starter team) and 1 box of 4 (expansion)… and they could package the other teams in a similar set up… 6 Butchers + Season 1 & 2 add ons, [...]
