Got a week of gaming in July and testing this is on the list of things to do, personally KoW is not to my taste so this is looking like the contender for my mass battle system. Downloaded the in progress rules and scan read was very positive.

@ugleb that is down to tournament organisers, if people avoid tournament s with certain rules included then they won’t be for long
CMON and Dark Age in particularly have always seemed to have a weird relationship with being in stock… for a long time, the guys running Dark Age were doing it out of their houses… and so it was very sporadic… it also seems like the timing of “new releases” were often very sporadic, but recently [...]

Naming aside I actually like the new flyer models. Personally beyond one per army I don’t think they are a fit for 40k, and certainly squadrons seem excessive. Still I think it is probably a smarter strategy to go wide with 40k then codex churn and additional bloat, and this strikes me as widening the [...]

Got a gaming week planned to try this out in July, among other things, work in progress rules looked solid as did the army books. Certainly the most like candidate for mass fantasy battle game for me.

Good Morning All! My drive fizzled last night, in part due to an infection I got on my foot. I was serving up some lasagna a while back, and I guess I got it too cheesy. Half of it slid off the spatula and hit my foot. 2nd degree burn. I finally got some horse [...]

I dunno. Do you get to pick and choose which bits to use if your main avenue to getting games is attending tournaments when any player can bring anything? If a company decides to drop a big addition like this into the game and declares it to be tournament legal, do I get a say [...]

I’m really looking forward to Dark Age week.
The Deadzone 2.0 stuff looks great.
Congratulations to @warzan for next weekend!
Thanks to BoW and Renedra for the prize!
My wako tau’s commander (samurai space pirate tau) is starting to shape up. I am going to bring down the white a bit with some shading using grey, I given up on trying to use wash as I learned the hard way that it doesn’t work how i’d imagine. The edge highlighting is going to [...]

Oh, and Happy Sunday
Same as @macayana. I now prefer Kings of War, just because of its simplicity and the feel of battle it creates. Warhammer Fantasy…. err… sorry I mean Ninth Age is to complex and cumbersome for my taste (played 3 games over the last 8 month). BUT it is great to see projects like this. Wish [...]
