Grab A Tru-Scale Imperial Fist In Aid Of Charity
December 26, 2012 by brennon
If you're looking for something extravagant to spend some Christmas money on then how about helping charity as well? Check out this listing for a Tru-Scale Imperial Fist Space Marine painted to a high standard...
"The Artscale conversion is a process of adjusting the proportions of a miniature to better reflect the artwork of Games Workshop's Space Marines. This miniature is broader than usual and measures 40mm from the bottom of the foot to the top of the head (50mm overall including the base), whereas a standard Space Marine miniature typically measures 32mm tall. The stunning paint job was achieved by Rafael who has won numerous Golden Demon awards at many of Games Workshop's Games Day events. The model is representative of a Veteran Sergeant of the Imperial Fists with suitable battle honours, carrying a Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield. The model's head is attached by a small strong magnet allowing the facing direction of the head to be altered."
All proceeds from this charity auction will go to the Birmingham Dogs Home. What make's this pretty awesome is that this comes from my home town of Stourbridge in the West Midlands!
It certainly is an impressive miniature and who knows, maybe one of you will be able to call it your own.
What do you think of it?

I truly hope they make a good amount from this action to meet the needs of the charity. As for the model, it looks super awesome as well as the painting is top tear. I wish I could paint yellow like that.
On something off topic, I must admit when ever I see the words “true-scale” I think of a real life size model… and then I come back down to Earth 😛
