Infinity’s Amazing New January 2015 Releases!
January 26, 2015 by dignity
Well looks like the guys at Corvus Belli have been working their socks off for us all again with the new minis for Infinity! From what we're hearing we'll be expecting these to appear around the February 15th 2015 mark and I can't wait to get my hands on them for a closer look.
Kicking off we have the brand spanking new redesign of the PanOceania Starter Pack from Operation Icestorm now up for general release. In this set you'll be getting the three Fusiliers with Combi Rifles, one Orc Trooper with a MULTI Rifle, the rather epic looking Nisses from Svalarheima with MULTI Sniper Rifle (this is a really nasty weapon, watch out for it on the tabletop) and one Akalis Sikh Commandos with Combi Rifle. Will these PanOceania hyper-technical combat units be making it into your army?
Not to be left out there is also the Nomads Starter Pack from Operation Icestorm coming out. In this you'll be getting the three Alguaciles with Combi Rifles, one Mobile Brigada kicking butt with a MULTI Rifle & light Flamethrower, the Grenzer with MULTI Sniper Rifle and one Spektr with Combi Rifle.
What do you think guys? I've always seen Nomads as strange, eccentric and anti-system. They have a small but professional army that's well equipped and ready to do what ever it takes to guarantee their independence and liberty.
Time for the Yu Jing to get some love with the Yan Huo Invincibles. One question, how badass do you need to be to be given not one but two missile launchers? This is an obscene amount of fire power and it's leading me to believe that this might be the first of a new breed of heavy infantry that will do no less than dominate their Line of Fire. It's not even the damage one of these bad boys can throw out, it's that intimidation factor holding your opponents at bay that really makes them worth your while.
We had an exclusive on these Combined Army troops a little earlier this month and from what we're hearing the Unidron Batroids will be a very unique trooper. There place on the battlefield seems to be to throw a spanner in the plans of your enemy and open up the opportunities that will lead to the inevitable victory of the Evolved Intelligence. As for background, we did get a little snippet:
"The bulk of the EI Hegemonic Fleet is comprised of Unidrons, techno-organic tactical units designed for action in hostile environments. Unidrons are cultivated in high-tech growth compounds, ready to be harvested and deployed at any moment."
Last up this month the armies of Haqqislam have been reinforced by the Hassassin Ragiks. The only thing you really need to know about this guy is that he's loaded out with a Spitfire, and if you don't know what that is you soon will. Think firepower turned up to eleven. Add to that the fact that the Hassassin Ragiks are the best para-troopers in the Haqqislam faction and your looking at a recipe for utter destruction!
Well that's it for another month everyone. Hope you've seen something you liked and we'll see you next time with even more cool Infinity miniatures!
Which is your favourite?

OH MY CHRIST
Oh dear, nomad appears to be standing on a lump of scrap/rubble. Still, least its a change from a rock/skull.
And a panOceana bloke standing on what could be a product from battlefoam in the future 😉
I think they’re supposed to be bits of Pan Oceania armour. 🙂
*cough* 2015 *cough*
@dignity hasn’t caught up yet 😉
great miniature for Haqqislam….will be a hell to transport with the filigran parts but the Hassassine looks cool anyways
Hmmm, not a lot new then – Icestorm models are what – 6 months old?
Time to focus on a new CA with the new starter set and these SWC Batdroids?
The Icestorm minis are now available as Starter Packs for PanO and Nomads where previously they were only in the Icestorm box, it says as much in the article.
Since OP icestorm is sold out in most places these are the best way now to start Nomads or PanO though you’ll miss the two exclusive minis that came in Icestorm.
Yan Huoooooowhoa.
That’s awesome. I wasn’t 100% sold on the concept art with the massive OTT shoulder canons, but this is just awesome. First the Hac Tao resculpt now this – darn you CB, give our overdrafts a break!
Only been into Infinity for a year and a half but the quantity and quality of new releases is simply astounding. I would be hard pressed to think of anther company with such dedication to their game and the games followers/supporters. Beautiful new minis. The sculpts are outstanding and dynamic. Thanks CB, keep up the great work.
I’ve been waiting for the Yu Jing new releases to build up to the point where it’s worth me placing an order to get them started.
I think that I can safely say that we’re there.
These miniatures are beautiful… Hats off to Corvus Belli
When I see their minis I always have two words for you: Corvus Belli
CB is starting to become the go to game for me and my friends.
