Forge World Get The Questoris Knight Magaera Working!
September 19, 2014 by brennon
Forge World have another new release this week and it's another add-on to the Mechanicum's arsenal of weapons and walkers. See what you think of the Questoris Knight Magaera that will be heading off into the war zone fully armed and battle ready.
This knight comes a lightning cannon of all things as well as that deadly close combat weapon for a bit of close support on the battlefield in a shock-style affair. Apparently this thing can even do a bit of self repair on the battlefield to shrug off those massive hits it might suffer. Machine spirit be praised indeed!
As you can see it's quite the tall beast standing around the height of most other Knights and you can now check out the rules for it to see if you want it in your own force over on the Forge World website HERE.
What do you think of this new knight?

I like this one. It has a disturbing machine like look with many parts not covered in armour. There are many places suitable for heavy weathering.
Dribbles!!
I know FW and GW and the Horus Heresy are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I could honestly weep tears of pure joy taking in the beauty of this.
Now that is what I call a Mechanicum Knight. I think the sinister, techno-arcana look fits perfectly with the broader Mechanicum themes as establuished in the Forge World Horus Heresy books, the HH novels, and the broader game lore. It doesn’t hurt that the rules are rather tasty either.
Not to my tastes but I can appreciate the fantastic work that FW are doing with their Knights.
Good to see that Forge World hasn’t lost it like GW has. This is a nice kit, not something I would ever spend £110 on, but it does look great.
I also wish FW would do more fantasy stuff. After parting out the bubbly, crusty, broken skullcracker they sent me I’m a bit leery, but they are clearly capable of great work.
Nice variation to the basic GW knight.
