A Mead Hall Is Erected By ZEN Terrain For Norsgard

I always like Dark Age and Nordic paraphernalia so when ZEN Terrain showed off the test builds for their new Mead Hall for Norsgard I was very eager to take a closer look. This is a rather superb looking building with a nicely detailed interior...

The world of Norsgard is around 32mm in scale so this will be a little larger for the world of Historical 28mm gaming BUT it shouldn't be too much of a difference. It will just look all the more grand.

As you can see inside they have included tables, benches, chests and even a throne for the lord to sit as he watches his subjects battling it out. I think this is going to look superb when weathered and painted up with drifts of snow built up around the sides.

Will you be keeping an eye out for the release of this?

I wonder if more than one kit can be assembled together to make a long hall? I am only a little handy like that so it would have to be pretty easily done for me.

The building is quite big in itself so have not thought about that. Though I suppose with a little bit of cutting and a smidgen of patience you could join two of them together.

Not sure windows are a good idea you may find the snow drifts built up on the inside. 🙂 I do like the furniture especially the throne. The gaping holes in the side are the only downer for me but they may be an easy fix.
