Sopwith Camel – Wings of War
April 27, 2011 by dignity
Darrell gets his hands on another plane from Wings of War this time its the Sopwith Camel the same plane flown by Major William Barker with 50 kills.
The Camel became the most successful fighter aircraft in the history of the RAF, shooting down 46 aircraft and balloons from September 1917 to September 1918 in 404 operational hours flying.

I love my Camel, outstanding plane.
You know the plane has potential when it tries to kill you on takeoff and landing. 😀
what do you think to the WW2 version?
@ Bloodhunter
I love, although I never played the WWI version…
I love both versions, though I find the WWI game is a bit more accessible to new players. My only real gripe is how long it takes for the sets of the minis to be released. Also I wonder how they’re going to handle the late war planes for WWII, since they’d start needing two cards for each move given the speed differences with some early models.
I love blackadder. Wings of War look pretty awesome. Although where has the other bloke gone?
By “other bloke” I’m guessing you mean John? He’s gone to university in England I believe.
I was wondering if you could do a video on the expansion boxes like “Watch your back.” Also is there any way you could do a small tutorial of the game?
