Warzone Resurrection Unboxing: Fenris Bikers
November 1, 2016 by dignity
Today we're unboxing the Fenris Bikes from Warzone: Resurrection.
Prodos Games never fail to surprise us with their sculpts and these are fantastic miniatures, their poses demand speed and action, we can't decide whether the bikes are front or rear wheeled drive.
How would you paint the Bikes?

While the design of the new Fenris Bikes has been somewhat divisive, I much prefer them over the original which seemed more at home on “Biker Mice from Mars”. The front piece – when considered on it’s own – almost has a 1950s formula one vibe to it and it begs to be painted racing green (perhaps with a not-Stirling Moss behind the wheel).. but I must agree with John that as soon as you add the front blades, it is impossible not to think of the bikes as some kind of souped-up agricultural machinery! If I ever pick up… Read more »
Nice 😀 . You could set up lawnmower races with the way those bikes look.
As for the rules, these bikes are very interesting – fast and cheap as you might expect, but these vehicles are actually transports. This means that the model mounted on the back isn’t actually part of the vehicle, but rather it is from a squad that is hitching a ride. Fenris Bike squads are comprised of 1-6 bikes, meaning they can transport up to a 5-man (or woman) squad plus an attached character as long as all of those models are size 0. The Fenris Bikes will get their activation and as soon as the squad is deactivated, the squad… Read more »
Which company makes the closest thing to John Deere green 🙂
Green stuff some sun hats on the riders also.
I generally like the art direction Prodos is taking but every now and then they just put out a model that makes you scratch your head. This is one of those. When did the imperials turn into space rednecks riding around on their lawn mowers?
I like them I would skip the blades to make them less lawnmowery maybe create a cool exhaust off the manifold to make it more formula one… Also it is so rear wheel drive… As all motorcycle/sports cars should be
You could double your troops and lose none of the comic effect, if you left rear wheel off and ran the unit as 3 lawn mowers and 3 combat unicycles. 😉
The only option is to paint them in John Deere green-and-yellow livery.
There’s a better option for some of the brighter grafiti option than stencils and transfers. Print off what you want, mirrored, on normal printer paper with an ink jet, cut the paper down to just around the image. Put a layer of mod podge over the paper and press it up against what you want it on and let it dry. Then use a damp sponge to wet it down and remove the paper…the ink transfers to the mod podge and remains on the mini. Just make sure you’re careful while doing it and let it dry if it gets… Read more »
If it’s not two wheels it’s not a bike. It ain’t rocket surgery; unicycle= one wheel, tricycle=three wheels, bicycle= two wheels.
And as for the drive, how can they be rear wheel drive when the rear wheel looks barely connected?
