Yeah, no video here either.

Such a tease, Andy.
The video is on youtube if you want to watch it now.
The models themselves are awesome, but the 2.0 rules are slightly strange, and if you have more units than the enemy at least a third of the the units you outnumber them by will only do anything on a 3+, which kinda makes me want to take as few units as possible and spend as many points on them as possible rather than having points invested in units that wont be doing anything.
Or just ignor the crappy alternate activations and play it like a proper wargame, like 1.0
A “proper wargame” being the IGO UGO system from the 1980’s i suppose ?

Also, the “MSU vs. deathstar” point is not as clear-cut as someone skim-reading the rules might think.
Take a small number of expensive squads and you risk those units getting suppressed by enemy fire, leaving them unable to activate. Also, all armies have access to cheap characters that allow re-rolls on the activation dice, so there are a lot of ways to restore the balance. I’d encourage everyone to play a game rather than writing it off after 30 seconds of rule-skimming.
Agh, it won’t let me post video links on this website, I’m trying to show everyone the BoW video:

Quite a few of my arms were missing a good portion of the forearm. This includes me taking the time to match the arms with guns to ensure the lugs and posture match up. All the above comments relate to the first bag of 5 Enforcers I opened. I… Read more »
I’d send an email to mantic. If the casts were really that bad, there’s a good chance they’ll send you replacements.
