First up I have to say I’ve not seen these in the flesh. So it’s great to see them up close. I agree these look great, but not sure if they are the best 28mm plastics… They do seem swap perfect fits for flexibility, so the shoulders don’t always fit exactly and would need some fitting to tidy up. But I’d go for that rather than only having 5-6 poses. One other tiny niggle would be the ammo belt looks a little weird from the side? Is that to ensure it comes out of the mould? it’s a bundle of stick grenades btw
Basically yes it is, the “Geballte Ladung” or bundle charge was a common improvisation of the german stick grenade, it was nothing more than a grenade with 6 other grenades(minus the sticks) taped, tied or strapped around it so they all go bang at once- its the first anti tank weapon really, developed in WW1 when the tanks had nice flat tops to land one on, which would either breach the thin top armour or fill the cabin with shorn off bits of the armour. Spot on and they were certainly field manfactured. In the second world war they were mainly used as a demolition charge and placed against the target, with a 4 to 9 second fuse I don’t think I’d be keen.

I’m not keen on wargames factory models in general. I don’t like their poses, they usually remind me of mannikins in a shop window.
These however I do like and could see myself buying
Those are rather well detailed models. Proportions are also rather good in these.
Didn’t really notice these when they came out but with the Bolt Action rulebook nearly upon us, a box of these, a box of Warlord Germans for the MG’s & specialists and a Panzer IV in the WestWind sale and you’ve got a cheap but plentiful German force to take to the field of battle.
