Models such as these do occasionally get used by folks for mooks or particular conversions.
Interesting fact- these troops got their name from the role they were originally envisioned as having- the name derives from the French to jump or leap or similar. It was intended that they would ride to battle as pannier passangers on with heavy cavalry, whereupon they would jump off and deploy into their skirmish screen. I’m not sure that this ever happened in practice but that was the idea….almost like the para troopers of their day 😀
Another fact…..all the guns are smoothbore muskets.
Napoleon would not allow rifled muskets in his army, as they took twice as long to reload.
(Though they did have a much greater range.)
