Unboxing: Wild West Exodus – Wayward Eight Posse
May 29, 2018 by dignity
Today we're joined by Darren and Roberto from Warcradle Studios to talk about the Wayward Eight Posse faction for Wild West Exodus.
Led by the charismatic Marcus Wayward, this posse contains a varied band of hard-hitting outlaws from Hicks Kincade to the heavy gunner Jake Mattia. This is an impressively dynamic set of miniatures which eschew more static poses to deliver heroic stances.
Which of the Wayward Eight would you most want leading the charge?
These miniatures excude a great sense of clam, it’s almost serene. Though I get the feeling that if a fire was lit under them they would fly into action quickly.
There is a great deal of serenity and they look like a ship crew that you can’t take the sky away from.
I do think the ‘heavy’ needs a hat… made by his mother.
Well, we are 3 days from UK Games Expo and I just know that, like last year, this moth will be drawn to the flame of the WWX booth. However, unlike last year where it was a pleasant surprise, this year I am committed to getting this game on the table. I’m halfway through painting 1000 points of Outlaws and 1000 points of Lawmen……the Wayward 8 may just well be the next posse to pick up. Those are some sweet minis!
Love the Wayward Eight 😀 .Call me an old fogey though because i’d rather have building instructions in the box, not on the internet.
Waiting for my pre-ordered box to arrive in the mail. Soon, I hope.
But where is shepherd Book
I am liking the direction that WWX is going.
Take my love, take my land,
Take me where I cannot stand.
I don’t care, I’m still free,
You can’t take the sky from me.
Somes it up really
This release is the one I’ve been waiting for. I’ve avoided getting sucked in so far but now theyre out I don’t think I can resist anymore. I’m really impressed with the sculpts and love the nod to one of my favorite shows. I do wish they’d bring it back ?
Another excellent posse for WWX, think may have to get this to sit beside my Confederate Rebellion and give done grief to those purple bellies, eh I mean bluebellies
