Unboxing: Dreamforge Games Valkir Heavy Troopers
May 12, 2015 by dignity
We have more Eisenkern from Dreamforge Games to unbox! This time around it is a box set of the imposing Valkir Heavy Troopers.
This Twenty Man Set comes with a multitude of heads, weapons and accessories. You can really go to town when customising the squad to a visual style of your liking. What will you do with the 93 accessory pieces!?
These guys are reminiscent of Killzone to Justin and John. What do you think?
Do love the Teutonic feel to these dudes, would love to do a Grey Knights army with them, especially now that they’ve got the close combat orientated fellas too…
I’m on the fence with these. I like the basic infantry they came out with a bit more, and will be swapping out the heads for something less WWII German. I’ll be using them for a near-future combat team for the Traveller universe.
Hi guys, thank you for the unboxing!
Just an FYI the tassets are ‘heraldry’ are for the side of the waist and at the front and back if not using the skirting. On the sides, you can use the tassets or ammo packs. The figures were designed to be customizable with their final design, as not everyone likes tabards. You can see a shot of just some of the optional ways to assemble them here: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lxZkl_86SOg/UudNnDixrkI/AAAAAAAADgY/glRmDqvCnZM/s1600/VALKIR+OPTIONS.jpg
they look good and a nice set of variations to work with.
Great looking minis, loads of options AND a decent price 🙂
Not a fan of the Nazi helmets so I’m glad too see they come with knight versions. The knight heads fit in more with the Leviathan Crusader too. Might have to grab some of these guys!
