Unboxing Star Wars: Legion – Sabine Wren
January 20, 2020 by avernos
Gerry is in the studio to take a look at the Sabine Wren operative expansion for Star Wars: Legion.
Hailing from the very good Star Wars: Rebels animated show, Sabine Wren is making the jump over to Legion. Fantasy Flight Games have made sure to tailor this operative to the character as she comes with graffiti tokens in addition to the regular cards and upgrades. It will be interesting to see how people approach painting this figure with the possible variety of hairstyles and graffiti on the armour.
Who is your favourite character from Star Wars: Rebels?

Leave the helmet on, that is the way.
Thrawn… that’s my favourite character from SW:Rebels…
To me he will always be the villain of the Zahn novels.
You’re not wrong there, but he can be both can’t he? Born in the book but a great character in Rebels
True, but I felt he was better written in the Zahn Trilogy.
you’re right there too but giving that I read the books ages ago and Rebels is for kids I think they did a rather good job.
Still, I want him to appear in the Mandalorian 8)
@ darthcheese has it.I’m having enough trouble visualising the colours for the armour ( honestly,i’m probably just going with a few bright block colours ),let alone a hair colour.
I’ve decided on 2 one with and one without, and the dark sabre, it also means I can change the armour from season 1 to season 4 colour scheme 🙂
You need to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars before Rebels to know where the Darksaber comes from and it’s meaning.
They explain it aand its significance in rebels. Later I may Watch the clone wars.
But in clone wars, you get all the fun with Spoliers (Maul and the Darksaber)
Sabine was one of the more interesting rebels. The two jedi could be annoying, so could Zeb and the psychotic droid.
a nice looking model.
troopers vs units what is the difference?? sorry I’ve read the rules on FFG but I’m still non the wiser as to the definitions
A trooper will be an individual figure or vehicle and unit is a group of figures . So a unit may have 10 troopers of maybe 2 vehicles in it etc
a nice looking mini
