Unboxing Star Wars: Legion – Clone Captain Rex
January 6, 2020 by avernos
Gerry is back to talk about a recent release for Star Wars: Legion in the form of Clone Captain Rex.
The Fantasy Flight model for easy fit miniatures is on display well here as Captain Rex comes together simple and clean. the only real question Gerry has is why you would give the option of a bald head in lieu of a helmet thus attracting more fire at the model's face. But then again, options are always nice. The good captain also comes with an array of very enticing cards and powers, making his low point value even more valuable.
Are you thinking of adding Captain Rex to your skirmish or wargaming army?

You’re missing something @avernos : keywords with a number after them (Scout 1) stack. So with the card Rex has Scout 2 and can do a speed 2 movement after deployment.
Oh didn’t realise you could stack those.
That’s how the AT-ST gets “Arsenal 4” to go full ham at rebel blasting when General Weiss is piloting 😉
never go full ham … 😉
you’ve got to embrace the power of the Dark WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Although the prequel movies are often disliked, I do think that animated Clone Wars was quite good… it humanised the clones by giving them personalities.
love the captain figure.
Looking good.
