Batman Unboxing: Two Robins, Nightwing & Batgirl!
December 17, 2014 by elromanozo
Romain and our very own Boy Wonder Justin take another look at more mini's from the Batman Miniatures Game. This time around it's the Dark Knight's family of trusted sidekicks.
We've got not one but two Robins to show you (Damien Wayne and Tim Drake) plus the original, Dick Grayson in his Nightwing guise. To top it all off we have Batgirl to show you as well, all from Knight Models.
Which is your favourite Robin?

Nightwing butt! 😀
I said nothing… 😉
Sorry Justin, but John and Romain together was pure entertainment. Reunite them I say!
Dick Grayson – The original Robin, now Nightwing.
Jason Todd – The second Robin, killed by the Joker. Brought back and has had several stints as the Red Hood.
Tim Drake – Third Robin (and the second that was unboxed in the video), now Red Robin.
Stephanie Brown – The Spoiler, briefly the fourth Robin the third Batgirl.
Damian Wayne – Fifth Robin. Son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul. Killed by a clone of himself.
Carrie Kelley – Future Robin in The Dark Knight Returns.
The best Robin? Damian Wayne (primarily when done by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely).

I’m still a fan of Dick Grayson during the Adam West era, played by Burt Ward…

Oh my… 😉
Noooo my ears are bleeding! Where did you come across that song. Its right up there with Bilbo Baggins by Leonard Nimoy!
Did Justin just say that he wanted to abuse Nightwing on a painting table? Hahaha, the guys at BoW never fails to entertain.
Romain, you’ve got some pretty fine tattoo work.
Thanks !
It cost me an arm and a leg. Or an arm and an arm, as it were.
As for Justin, I think he only wants to stroke nightwing… with a brush.
I’m liking the batgirl model.
I’ve been looking for something to paint in black and white…
Nightwing’s the man. A recently abused and misused man, sadly. Pre-52 Drake a close second.
Damien should have never seen the light of day. Ugh.
I really like the Knight Models figures but I just can’t get over the price. I know you have to pay for quality, but this level of quality is sadly beyond my price range per figure. 🙁
In this case the license fee will be a big part of the high price too. In the case of Warzone, Prodos have had to become their own distributor to offset the license fee, and GW had to move production in-house to make LotR profitable because of the fee.
Also, although the price is high on an individual mini basis, you only need a few for a full-sized gang, and the rulebook is a free download. So overall the cost to play is still comparatively low.
