Unboxing: Battle Foam – Pathfinder Bag
October 23, 2015 by dignity
We're back with another look at what Battle Foam has to offer with their Pathfinder Bag. Pathfinder is a Fantasy RPG where you take on the roll of mighty heroes battling evil or maybe being a little evil yourself.
This bag is designed to hold all of your miniatures, the rulebooks and character sheets that you'll need for your games. Warren even has a brain wave for the future of games transport too!
What do you think of this bag?

For a long time, the Pack C4 has been my go-to bag as a GM but back when I was running Star Wars, I always found myself lugging around a second box because I couldn’t fit the bigger minis in the C4. I was quite tempted by the Iron Kingdoms bag but I’m still not sure who that product is for, as nice as it is. A player usually only needs one miniature so the tray was unnecessary.. and as a GM, the tray in that bag was never going to be enough. This bag, however, would have been perfect.… Read more »
It’s a good bag for the Pathfinder GM going to a Con in order to run several games of Pathfinder Society Organized Play. You’re looking at running up to 8 different 4 hour adventures. You need minis or pawns, flip mats and map packs, dice, rule books, dry or wet erase markers, tokens, space for the adventures or your tablet. At least here in central Florida going to a Con to run games requires hauling a lot of gear, especially if you want to cover being flexible enough to switch to a different adventure should there not be enough players… Read more »
I want one for Dungeon Saga, with room for all expansions and more inc the Dragon
Actually… i’m gonna need that for Kingdom Death: Monster O.o … yes is very true, i have all my minis from Dreadball stored that way and same will happen for Deadzone ( i actually consider Dreadball and Deadzone being wargames instead of boardgames but i get the point ). Maybe one pathfinder bag, multiple stickable logos if you want to look cool, and the storage cardboard boxes with all the foam you show us before. Many boardgames kickstarters already came with their own foamtrays for each box because of minis and counters, so is just a matter of make them… Read more »
I do like the foam tray that they do for board games that fit into the board game box ( see here: http://uk.battlefoam.com/board-game-foam-trays-6/ ).
I need something like this for Arcadia Quest.
Myth and the all those figs need a ‘Myth Bag’
It is a nice bag but it doesn’t come within eight inches of being big enough to carry my pathfinder books and doesn’t come within a foot and a half of my 3.5 needs. I could take half of the trays out and put the books in the body of the bag but it would be really tight and I fear even with Battle Foam’s much vaunted robustness it would not last long.
