December 9, 2024 by avernos
Gerry unboxes and reviews the recently released 28mm plastic boxed set from Victrix Miniatures for their Medieval Knights. A perfect set for those going on Crusade in their Historical wargames. He also looks at the Fantasy Heads, Cloaks & Shields which can be used to customise your Medieval Knights.

The Medieval Knights set features loads of useful components for making your Knights from a variety of different European countries during the period of the Crusades and more. The Fantasy options could then be great for turning your Knights into Fantasy Bretonnians for Warhammer: The Old World and beyond.

Fantastic. I have been waiting for this review ever since they were announced. I really like the fact the rider dethatches with the saddle. It makes it easier to paint the horse and rider separately.
The helms with the wings are probably for Prince Imrahil’s Swan Knights of Dol Amroth in the ‘Lord of the Rings’.
Great review.
Gerry is mistaken.
The Horse sprue is definitely more important. The horses will do fine without riders, but what are the guys going to do without horses?
Fantastic looking knight’s for the game table’s
