Gerry gets an in-depth look at the 80s inspired Government faction for Hydrophilia. In addition to the impressive walker that could handily take down Robocop, there's also a few troopers, a captain, and the hunter character.
The detail is impressive on each resin miniature and Gerry has a hard time finding any seam lines or bubbles.
Who would win in a fight: Themis or ED-209?

Clearly ED-209 since it doesn’t relies on weak human flesh!
I like what i’m seeing. I wouldn’t say this isn’t heroic at all, but it’s within the realms of realism, and a good deal away from the duplo direction other companies have been going in.
There’s quite a range of sculpting styles on the Artel W website. Well worth checking out.
Now if they would go back in the cassette
Case I would be impressed.
thats ED-209 McII
i like the armour on some of the troops reminds me of the DS9 kardassians
All this talk about foot on rock being bad and what did you do?
I’ve never complained about foot on rock
My apologies then. I’ve gotten used to it being complained about every time on this channel. Guess I just assumed that included you.
people have to stand on something…unless they’re Baron Harkonnen 😉
I’m a fan of people standing on things. It unifies the model and their world. So long as it makes sense and isn’t overly repetitive across the army. Your mech there needs a crushed car bonnet to stand on instead.
haven’t decided what to put under the foot yet, bonnet may be too small, although it could be on a raised footpath…. I shall consider it
I was thinking an entire car, but the foot is crushing the bonnet. I imagine a whole car would be too big to fit under that foot. A criminal might work, but if whatever you put there isn’t big enough the foot might log odd without the toes wrapping around it.
A snotling weightlifter resisting being crushed with all his strength? Nah.
