Gerry is diving into a bit of Weird World War goodness today as he takes a closer look at the heroes from Wolfenstein: The Board Game which is currently on Kickstarter from Archon Studio.

If those Sprues are anything to go by, I think the detail in these are going to be Beautiful,

I’ve had a few games that use light grey plastic and it looks terrible for detail at first glance, but usually a coat of spray primer takes away the shine and exposes the detail.
aye, but I didn’t want to spray them and then have people question whether anything else had been done to them or the base material. Catch 22. It more or less worked I feel
I understand that. It was not a criticism of you, just an observation to those watching that the minis look better primed than in light grey shiny plastic.
Conan board game minis looked crap in light grey plastic, but fine when primed.
I would go for the hard plastic everytime?
a great set of figures I take it max is meant to have a dent on his head (war wound) hence the toys around him.?
no idea if it’s a war wound or an experiment, but yes bulky Max is delightfully child-like
According to the video game he was born with severe brain injury so doctors had to remove half of his brain.
This game completely passed me by, the miniatures are quite nice
they’ve got pre-assembled pledges (I think it’s like 15$ extra) … I’d still pick the unassembled version.
However I am trying to limit myself to kickstarters that deliver this year, so not not backed (yet).
