Unboxing: Forge World Event Minis & Scyllax Guardian-Automata
June 17, 2015 by dignity
We've got some more of @deaddave's Forge World collection to unearth for you. This time around we've got more event exclusive miniatures as well as the Matrix-esque Scyllax Guardian-Automata.
It's not just Sci-Fi miniatures in this Unboxing however as we have a Warhammer Forge exclusive in the form of the Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer along with the Death Korps Krieg Quartermaster.
The Scyllax Guardian-Automata Covenant of the Mechanicum are used as elite shock troops or bodyguards.
Which miniature takes your fancy?

Chaos dwarf dude looks to be armed with a lawn edger ready to engage in some gardening
Chaos Garden Gnome.
I hope they or GW do more automata like that, id love to see a proper tripod type thing too – something taller and weirder than their 2-legged walkers.
The quartermaster kind of looks like the Wargames Factory shocktroopers, which come in a box of 18 for about the same price.
I like the Vorax better, as the scyllax look more like Necrons. They’re both outside my comfort zone in terms of price, however.
I really like the Quartermaster, it was the first DKOK fig I bought and the one that convinced me to build a Korps army,
love the quartermaster trooper.
The Chaos Dwarf’s weapon reminds me of a Monk’s Spade from Asia. I don’t know what the exact name of it is, but similar design for the bladed shovel head.
That dwarf’s weapon looks like an Egyptian Fan Axe.
