July 11, 2022 by avernos
Gerry unboxes the 28mm plastic set from Wargames Atlantic for the Conquistadors. You can use these for an array of 15th and 16th Century battles in Europe and beyond and they can be paired up against their existing Aztec Warriors too.

The kit comes with enough bits to make twenty-four of these soldiers armed with sword, spear, halberd, crossbow, and musket. The array of head options then allow them to be taken by other powers of Europe during the period too.
Are you liking the look of these new Conquistadors?
These are great and can cover so many factions from the period. There’s a very lovely early colonial American osprey book with Tudor Virginia period plates which these would fit not nicely for a fight against the native peoples.
great looking figures the soldier with the crossbow looks like a planet of the Apes ape.
That would be amazing if WA would do Galloglas indeed. I am planning on using them for Border Reivers and KoW Kingdom of Men
Got my box, going to mix them with my Ghost Archipelago Nortstar figures for English Sea Dogs for the period, For Drake like actions in the South Americas’s , got some Aztecs for native scouts… and a mdf ship and…..bugger!
