Unboxing WWX: Ike Clanton, Jim Younger & Long Tree
December 30, 2014 by dignity
Justin is joined by Sean of Outlaw Miniatures to get an in-depth look at some more awesome looking Wild West Exodus minis.
Unboxed this time are a pair of Outlaw sidekicks, Ike Clanton and Jim Younger, as well as the mysterious mercenary doctor Long Tree.
Who would you use in a gunfight?
My, my … whatever next? Perhaps a fulfilment of the Art Book Pledge? Oh… wait I forgot ….. That $15 voucher which wouldn’t even cover International Postage, which was sent to KS Backers instead ….
Silly me for getting my hopes up there then …. 🙁
I think that Long Tree model is just awesome. They all look good. But there is just something about Long Tree that screams “Buy and paint me!!!”
Outlaw just posted another KS Update, in which the KS pledge FREE Art Book previously cancelled, and then substituted with a voucher for a lesser amount, has now been offered for purchase for an even higher amount instead of re-instated for FREE. If the book got bigger by their design, it’s a cost that the Company should have absorbed themselves. That’s what editing is for!
Should we wargamers support this Company, and purchase it’s products when it treats backers (customers) with such contempt? 🙁
Thanks again for having me out to Ireland Beasts crew, was a great time to talk Wild West Exodus.
Stevekraken, sorry to hear that you feel that so much negative has come from Wild West Exodus. We have done and continue to do as much as possible to improve the product line and improve the experience for customers. Regarding the Artbook, we’ve done as much as possible to make the situation amicable. Everyone who has emailed or called us has found a way to work out the situation as positively as possible.
