Team Yankee Unboxing: Charlie’s Chieftains
October 11, 2016 by dignity
Team Yankee's Iron Maiden release unveils another amazing box for your British Army as Charlie's Chieftains comes out to play.
Want to get in the mood to play as the British?
After days of hard fighting Major Charles Leslie's Lancers and Guardsmen were worn and frayed, no longer so eager to test themselves in battle. Their expressions were grim and hard. The coming battle was not going to be easy. The Soviets fought tenaciously to hold what they'd taken.
It wouldn't matter though as the C.Squadron Lancers and their attached Irish Guardsmen would live up to the regimental motto: "Death or Glory". Today it would be the enemy that would die and C.Squadron that would reach for glory.
Are you ready for Charlie's Chieftans?

Im really looking forward in getting into this, for me had to be the British so Im so glad they have arrived.
There will be more models many times over made them there was the real thing lol.
Tanksss !
Watching these unboxings is so much fun.
It’s almost a shame there’s only twenty minutes of tanky goodness …
Can’t decide between these or US to pick up first….
Both, you know you want to.
Don’t do that….. you know it’ll happen eventually anyway! 😀
The Challenger 1’s were not particularly reliable either. When the UK basically stripped BAOR to send tanks to the Gulf in 1990/91, they had to send every spare part and borrowed 500 engineers from the manufacturers to keep the bloody things running. That was why the British Armoured Division was the innermost digit of the armoured fist that hammered into Iraq.
Needs more tanks 🙂
great video guys.
the flat engine is a common engine for boats.
the lynx was/still the fastest chopper in the world.
Team Yankee has some really nice starter boxes
My pre-orders haven’t arrived… Soon…
A great looking box for sure!!
They missed a trick by not including an option for the thermal sight that replaced the spot light on some later Cheiftains. The Tp leader usually ended up with the TOGS (Thermal Observation Gunnery Sight) that was later fitted to Challenger 1.
For anyone who has seen these in the flesh, how does the detail level compare to the other Team Yankee plastic kit tank releases?
