Justin is in the studio to take an in-depth look at the new three and four-player expansion for Aristeia from Corvus Belli where you can battle it out amongst more of your friends. Instead of fielding four characters, each player has two of their figures to choose from. The expansion does require the base game to play but there are new initiative trackers and tokens to spice things up.

Yes I’m interested in this and it would be nice if you guys could play this, once you can meet up in the studio again.
I hope this goes well for Corvus Beli, their minis are always spectacular to look at, however I doubt there’s much of a sports game market and that which does exist is dominated by Bloodbowl and then Dreadball.
I think it went quite well, considering Aristeia!! was released at then of 2017 or the beginning of 2018 and got multiple expansions including this one.
This is good, look forward to it and will adapt the new mechanics for 2-player matches just to see how that works out. Aristeia has been a bit of a revelation for me. Really had no interest in it whatsoever since it came out, but got it on a whim a couple of months ago just to understand the dice mechanics in anticipation for Defiance. And it turned out to be a fantastic game, we’ve had great fun with it. Simple to learn but with incredible depth to it.
