Purity Seals is the word you were looking for for the medal thingies. The real question though, is do Ultramarines cut the crusts of those sandwiches or not. Its a shame you can’t buy blister packs of heads, as you say, the beakie ones are nice, but you only get one per box, and most of the bits guys charge 75p a head or more for the rarer heads (which I understand, they still have to buy this stuff by the box). but dont forget, vanilla marines dont really have much choice for cheap marines. their usefulness comes from their weapon options, but we dont get those till we take a 10 man unit. Then, it already costs 170 pts. And that just for only bolters. Then your paying for the good stuff. Mine easily come to around 190-200 pts per squad
That arm is holding a grenade but i suppose you could use if for a heavy weapon arm.
what does “bog” standard marines actually stand for?
It doesn’t stand for anything, “bog standard” just means plain, ordinary or everyday.
I think the tactical sqaud is a must have for any space marine army.
I would like to see more heavy weapons like a HB or MM
I think Darrell has done most of the “Bog Standard” units. Still waiting for that big day when he does a Land Raider. Even though Darrell’s been doing an admirable job, I’d like to see Waren do Orks or something next. He’s been away too long, eh?

You can buy the Rogue Trader sprews even now on eBay. They often come cheaper then new boxes form GW
I am still using those old marines from 3rd? for my tac squads… You know the guys you pop the bolter on the front and the pack on the back and put him in the base…
