It’s another day at BoW and John’s got the Soul Grinder out for a peak and by the looks of it this is one mean Daemon engine.

I’m generally not overly impresssed with the rank-and-file of GW sculpts… Sometimes even the LOTR range, which is admittedly a lot better and more realistic. However their big beasts and their special characters are largely above what anyone could expect. Sometimes, we are treated with a true masterpiece. Here, we have a MAGNIFICENT model, large and gorgeous, oozing demonic awesomeness through all its pores… The dynamic pose, as well as the details and reasonable posability, make it impressive on or off the table. I have a Soulgrinder, and I can say it is a treat to paint. In particular, making the metal underside and legs look worn and dirty was a blast, and it looked good.
I reckon if you’re a good painter this model has lots of potential. I wasn’t amazed with it at first but I am warming to it.
