Warhammer Age of Sigmar Unboxing: Malign Sorcery
June 18, 2018 by dignity
We have another Age of Sigmar expansion unboxing and this time we're looking at the Malign Sorcery spell effect set from Games Workshop.
The set contains an 88-page hardback book detailing the lore, artwork, and rules for the new spells; 17 push-fit miniatures giving you physical representations of the Endless Spells; as well as Warscroll cards listing the stats and effects whilst playing on the tabletop.
Which of these spells are you looking forward to casting?

Anyone else surprised that the *Burning* Head wasn’t on the red sprue?
As for Balewind Vortex, that’s one of the old Arcane Fulcrums from WHFB; if you go on the AoS app you can see what it looks like.
Fairly sure ‘Shyish’ is pronounced how it looks – ‘Shy-ish’.
The purple shy skull of spikiness is my favourite from these models. I might actually want to buy this set even though I don’t play Age of Sigmar, they would be just for painting.
I have been avoiding sigmar because of what they did to the Old World, but Malign Sorcery was the reason I decided to try it, plus the undead army in Soul Wars. My preorder is in.
Thinking redoing sigmar cards to make a dwarf army instead of space marines. Stonecast Eternals…
I sold all my GW stuff some 10yrs ago for various reason and have never been back. This is very exciting and if it was not for cost would have pulled me back in. The magic effects I believe is just brilliant and make me happy watching this video even though I no longer play. I may get this and see how I can incorporate into D&D in some way.
Little bit of greenstuff and that purple sun could be a beholder. 😉
These do look awesome.
very nice goodness gracesh great balls of fire.
I’ll definitely pick this up. Looks like a really fun painting project regardless of any use it might get in games!
