Take Shelter in the Sanctum Imperialis
August 18, 2010 by johnlyons
John continues his look into the Warhammer 40k Scenery sets. Here is the Sanctum Imperialis. This kit is one of the more ornate kits in the Cities of Death range and John shows you all that comes in the box here.

Again a nice set – I am really tempted to get a city from 40k, and this is surely a good start to make. Not sure for the price, but normally, their terrain prices are good. I mean: Yes they are expensive, but their quality is top notch and if you bought this from other makers, I am sure they’d charge the same for resin terrain.

Best way to sort out your terrain needs is save up abit and by a sector or a city 🙂 i find buying one building abit to limiting 🙂 Btw i would say this is one of the better ones in the range
As beautifully sculpted as the building is. The contents of the box strike me as being a little on the spars side.
john does not seem to happy 🙁
John, you seem a little down and in a “i can’t be bothered with this” mood here.
Anyway i like the 40k buidlings such as this but individual box sets such as the Sanctum Imperialis doesn’t have much to it so I feel buying multiple box sets and interchanging parts can make for amazing terrain pieces.
One of the better looking pieces i think, would be nice if you guys could do a video showing how you put this all together.
he seems sad cos when was the last time he did a tank unboxing!!?? 😛 anyway he cant be sad cos he has a happy guys shirt on 😛
This building is really great looking. a tip for anyone that dont got it (or want more) buy 2 sets, open the boxes, clip all pieces out and start experimenting, using blu tac for dryfitting and you could end up with something truly amazing… and with 2 sets you are actually able to build a whole building… instead of a corner…
What’s up, John? You seem distant somewhat.
john whises he was unboxing a tank
lol i just got this set today! and now i wish i had 2 so i could make a bigger building
