They look good. And will sometimes find the way into my army.
The big balloon is a Horo which is a bamboo framed cloak and is worn by the samurai not his horse.
It was worn by messengers and Personel bodyguards or Hatamoto as you say to protect from arrows.
Really nice looking models I may have to look out some flying bases
As huscarle says, I wonder if you could use a clear post from a flying base to mount one of the horses to look as though it’s galloping or leaping. From the video I’m not sure if I saw two horse halves that would allow you to create this pose, but it’d be pretty cool looking if you could pull it off.
I do quite like these figures, I’ve added them to my to-buy list.
