i prefer 6mm nappies as it stops some grognard whinging that my lace/facings is the wrong colour but Perry and Victrix are so tempting as they are great figs. The Victrix dude is also a great guy, had a nice chat with him at Bovington show

Nice review. Next time you do a Victrix review could you stick in the old space marine or imperial guard solider for size comparison?
I’m thinking of Vostroyans. Easily doable with little converting. The bodies actually look a really good basis for any greatcoat regiment of the Imperial Guard.
Ah, old guard grenadiers, the Tiger tank of the Napoleonic era. It seems like everyone who collects French has some, even if they’re doing a Peninsula Campaign army.
