Darrell takes a look at the Modular hill. It's one of those kits that everyone picks up at some point, simply because most of the work is done for you. All you really need to do is put some flock down on it and your ready to go.

Somebody needs to make this site!!!
Exemplary padding job there Darrel 🙂
Seven Hills of Rome:
Aventine Hill, Caelian Hill, Capitoline Hill, Esquiline Hill, Palatine Hill, Quirinal Hill, Viminal Hill.
Know your hills Darrell! 😛
You have to watch out about getting too interested in hills, its a slippery slope.
lol (Comment of the week right there) rotflmao
Is the the same as the bofa hill?
That’s where it was first released, yes.
What’s it like in comparison to the Gale Force Nine hills?
Did Darrell take up geology as a new hobby ?
darrell bein the cheese-man he is has found his new love in terrain, and ive noticed that in all the unboxings there hasnt been many for space wolves or necrons, but i’m hopin for more
Surely if you higher a hill it will become a mountain Darrell?
Depends how much you higher it 🙂
Whether you like Hugh Grant or not, i really liked the movie “The englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain”
Joseph Smith found the golden plates in the Hill Cumorah.
Did darrel really research the different names of hill? Are there that many different types of hill?
I quite enjoyed this review, not so much for the GW terrain, more about hill facts.
I thought a knoll was a creature in DD
that is a gnoll
Sheffield is also built on 7 hills
Great job Darrell with this hillarious hillology lecture! And you managed to keep your face mostly straight…
And about the GW hill: I don’t like the bottom slippery slope. It’s kind of realistic for this type of a hill but extremely annoying if you have to place your miniatures there.
I stick to my home-made layered hills made of styrofoam. They are very easy to cut with a knife and the GW ones don’t come painted as well.
Darrell: Putting the lol into Hillology!
Vyvyan: Do you think ants go to discos?
Mike: Vyvyan, it has been proved that ants are highly intelligent with a well ordered society—the last thing they’d go to would be discos.
Vyvyan: Well, why’s one of them wearing a silver boob tube then?
Mike: There’s a very good reason for that.
Vyvyan: What?
Mike: You’re talking crap.
darrell, that was awesome mate. surrealist and understated, possibly the funniest thing ive seen since the mighty booosh. #bowtothemaster
I was having a pretty bad day – then I see this, and now I’m smiling again. Thanks, Darrel.
lol what the hell is darrel talking about? rofl… Lets talk abit aobut hills 😛
No, no, you got it all wrong. Its “lol what the HILL is Darrell talking about?”
I love your passion about hills and rome.
Who would buy this? o_o
People who are allergic to pink foam, saving money or common sense.
Darrell, yesterday was ruddy awful. I got in, watched you gabbling on about bluebells and suddenly it all seems ok. Cheers mucker.
Its only half a hill and I’m really not a fan of pre-made unpainted hills. Cutting foam to a hill shape takes next to no time at all, and from there you just need to paint and flock both hills, and you probably can make your 7 hills of Rome(or 7 hills, a steel mill and some snooker tables of Sheffield) for the price of the modular half-hill.
Oh and the The hills of Rome are called Hugh, Pugh, Barney Mcgrew Cuthbert Dibble and Grub. The seventh cannot be named due to a super injunction.
I wonder how often Darrel started laughing
