Today Justin & Lloyd have taken control of the show to bring you three new unboxings. Kicking things off we have The Guild Riflemen & Izamu, and The Armour for Malifaux with the lovely Kat.
Mike then joins us to get a peek at the new light Warjacks for the Retribution of Scyrah.
Then James joins us to check out the Báo troops and Penthesilea, the Amazon Warrior for Infinity. Hope you enjoy the show and feel free to drop in any ideas or thoughts on the unboxings!

Love it! And by being first, I have doomed myself to not winning anything. 🙁
Great looking minis, would be a great way to start off my malifaux collection!
I really like the new Malifaux plastic and have assembled a few of them myself. I really think it’s a shame Privateer Press use a different kind of plastic that requires super glue instead of plastic cement. In my opinion it makes for a weaker bond between parts which means the kits are more fragile and require storage in foam instead of the Malifaux model which I store in an old tea tin and never have any problem with.
I rather like this format for the unboxings and its great to see that a girl (Kat) has joined the team.
Epoxy is my fave. I even eat it on toast.
I want to win 🙂
hahaha nice arse! You are not alone, it also crossed my mind!
The Riflemen look awesome, hope I win! 😀
That Infinity biker is one of the best models of the year so far.. just the style of it, the girls pose on the back (the way she has 2 fingers hovering over the brake), her icy and impassive stare – even the way the swingarm comes straight off the engine casing (bike nerds will know this is something concept-design engineers are toying with) .. the whole thing just reeks of thought, effort and passion put into it. Sodding brilliant.
The new format is great, you should def keep it up. The Izamu and Penthesilea models are just awesome, might have to start some new factions.
Feel proud Kat, after teaching me Malifaux at Tabletop Day I have bought myself the Death Marshals box set. I am considering getting either those riflemen or Nino Ortega next for some more range power. Also maybe some Austringers as, while they are not as powerful, their range is very useful as is their ability to pass on orders.
The Penthesilea model is sooo good. I would love one, but she is sold out at all the usual stores I buy from.
It’s a Naginata Justin
Now can I win a prize for Nerd Rage
are you sure? i thought there was more of a curve to the Naginata? Can’t remember the names off top of my head but there were a variety of spear like weapons used by the samurai possibly another one of them.
Pretty sure Naginata like most weapons do vary in shape, some are quite straight some very narrow. this one looks very broad and looks more like the kind of halberd carried by classic chinese.
There is another that would fit the bill (ha ha). A Bisento as far as I know there are only descriptions of the weapon no examples.
Do I qualify for Nerd now 🙂
fair nuff :L I’ve always been better with European rather than oriental weapons myself so I’ll bow to your knowledge 🙂
Izamu the armor is lookin’ fly in rules as well as sculpt
I like the new format, I think it works best.
love the malifaux minis
Nice format on this one guys & lady.
One thing though – why didn’t you show the Bao bodies?
You obviously lined them for the camera but never showed them.
Those sure are some great looking minis
In it to win it! Liking the overall unboxing format and discussion, but also like to see the models built like on the old vid posts with Darrell, Jon and Andy. Good work by Kat and James too.
Awwww, they make a cute couple 😉
Mike and Justin? They certainly do… 😛
I was thinking of starting Malifaux. Winning these would help sway me.
Loving the look of the Riflemen
Looking good
I wasn’t very sure of how good the plastics are for Malifaux, but seeing them live on vid makes me less wary, they seem to have good flow on the drapery and details.
I have a few of the new plastic kits from Malifaux and they are without a doubt some of the best plastics I have seen. It really shows what can be done with plastic when the mold is right, process good, plastic mix perfect and the professionalism to make it happen is all in place. I’ve seen other companies true plastic injection mold kits and it’s almost laughable when you compare it to the quality Malifaux is dishing out.
Penthesilea is an awesome model. Also really liked the malifaux unboxing so great job Justin and Kat. Keep it up!
Malifaux and infinity for the win.
Really love the mini’s, can you do one for the new treasure hunters box as well?
certainly enjoy the new format although felt was a little long maybe? Still looking into malifaux and really loving the models got a rough idea of what i’m grabbing when 2nd ed drops… and my girlfriend is after something to paint so might let her at them shes soooo much better than me. My suspicion is they may be separate kits to prevent magnetizing as it is reducing sales? i don’t like to think privateer would do that but they are after all a business. But i really like the models and agree with you Justin the gorgon is a… Read more »
