Team Yankee – M163 VADS/M901 ITV Unboxing
July 26, 2016 by dignity
Today we're back to Team Yankee from Battlefront miniatures.
The M163 Vulcan Air Defense System is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that was used by the United States Army. The M168 gun is a variant of the General Dynamics 20 mm M61 Vulcan rotary cannon.
How would you play these on the table?

I think the “Unknown Componant” with the “Co-axal” is the gun for the Zippo turret AKA a flamethrower. I may be wrong as I am trying to remember the sprue I got for the Vietnam M113. Yet another great unboxing guys!
Don’t worry about the “unknown components” guys lol. The M113 has been in service around the world for over 50 years and when Battlefront first released the plastic kit to field in FOW Vietnam and then later FOW AIW… and now again for Team Yankee… and who knows what for the future, they had to “future proof” the sprues for all of the dozens of variations used around the world. Hence why it has so many options.

Ah… the majestic ground BRRRT!
interesting how they updated the 113 to stay in service.
This may seem a daft (and even stupid) question, but do the models come with an assembly instruction sheet?
I am new to FOW / Team Yankee models, and the reason I ask is that on the models I have seen unboxed no one has yet either shown such a sheet or even referred to one.
If not, there is a code on the box. If you go to the Flames of War website and search for the code, it will bring up a page showing you assembly instructions, colour coded spruces etc.
@cypher2009 – Thanks for the info, appreciated. 🙂
