Konflikt ’47 Unboxing: German King Tiger X
January 14, 2019 by johnlyons
The engineer gremlins at Warlord Games have spent so long trying to see if they could, that they didn't stop to think if they should...
John and Gerry sit down to unbox the imposing King Tiger X tank for Konflikt '47. Based on the Tiger 2 used at the end of World War 2 by the German forces, this shiny new version for the 'Weird World War' has a railgun in lieu of a standard tank barrel. Not only can it level buildings but it can also level the defences around John's heart!
If a King Tiger X tank turned up in a leather jacket to steal your partner, what biting quip would you use to fend it off?

Pink railgun tiger?
best kind
NO , no no , you paint the Panther pink , the Tiger is painted with wide orange and black stripes
@johnlyons ^^ See, this is what we expect to see from you. ? It’s not pink……..
love it and two turrets to choose from.
NO NO NO OMG what else can one say, apart from “oh f “.
Looks like a very nice bit of resin for those so inclined to play WW2 fantasy . The plastic kit on it’s own does build up quite nice , although you have to make a choice of turret as you don’t get enough pieces to make both ( only 1 commanders hatch cover , mg rail , and turret fan housing ) I’ll stick with my 3 regular Tiger IIs , thank you
Level the defenses around John’s heart. Best write up comment of the year so far.

Up to 80 plus inches of penetration, whats not to like. Nice looking tank and one i think every German player should have, wonder what Warlord will be giving other forces to combat the King Tiger X. @johnlyons, any chance in future of big tank unboxings you could do a size comparison to other tanks. I can see the KTX is big, but it would of been nice to… Read more »
