exactly what I was thinking, great model.
The model is brilliant but I find that on the field your opponent shoots the down as soon as they can so they rarely deliver your troops where you want them.
i like the bigger models. they’re kind of a recent addition to the 40k universe.

Well done Justin, great video! Not to sound like a military snob, but the glass covering on the cockpit is called a canopy just for future reference. I really like how you went into great detail and gave the specs for each build, great job!

Oh that’s from way back! July 9, 2009 in fact, I feel warm and gooey seeing that.
Yeah indeed we did but we have updated the format allot in recent times and will be revisiting some of the back catalogue to bring them update with better sound/picture quality and built versions of the models 🙂
Also there are new people joining the hobby and our site every day that might never see the old vid.

I have three of these in my IG army of 1850pts. The scout rule is great and you can outflank with them. Valks can move 12″ and fire a multilaser and two multiple rocket pods, MRPs (str 4 defensive weapons) and drop off the passengers who can then shoot. They’re nasty if your opponent places his tanks next to the edge of the board and you bring a unit of multimelta vets in on an outflank. Like the new version of the video, though I just watched the original with John and he had some good tips about gluing in the windows, which would have been good to have in the new vid. Keep John’s build tips in, they’re excellent! 🙂
