Hordes Unboxing: Pyg Lookout
April 3, 2018 by dignity
We've spotted some Pyg Lookouts Trollbloods for Privateer Press's miniature wargame Hordes.
"Pygs make for particularly effective lookouts. The pygs’ natural hardiness and adaptability to the elements lets them stay in the field for an indefinite period. They have keen eyes and can spot approaching forces from a great distance. When battle begins, their size allows them to sneak about at the fringes of conflict and lie in wait unseen."
This set contains six metal and resin models, including a scout expertly disguised as a snowman!
Is this a good gateway set to get the kids into Hordes?
In the States it is a Davey Crockett or a coon skin hat.
Loooove that snowman, would be a great gamer addition to the Christmas village at any house.
Lowers the threshold for hobby newbies. Painting, not using plastic glue at the wrong moment, using super glue properly.
“Don´t eat the yellow snow”. Did you mean the Frank Zappa song? Yellow snow means trollishness: Great!
Yellow snow? NAUGHTY STEP, THE PAIR OF YOU!
Love the Pyg in Snowman disguise … this is the unit that I am not allowing myself to buy until I paint two more Warma/horde units …… I am being strict with myself ……. gee it hurts … see how cute they look …. NO!!! .. you march back into your room and paint those units young man or no pygs for you …… bugger
