Andy & Darrell take a look at the plastic/resin kit for the Exemplar Errant for Warmachine and discusses the merits of having a tough holding unit in objective-based games.
As the ability to ignore or remove enemy upkeeps becomes more and more valuable the errants with their blessed crossbows are transitioning from great to “bane thrall good.”
Their well-rounded set of skills makes them simultaneously a defensive, melee, and ranged unit all at once. The fact that they have a fantastic officer and supporting solo pushed them up even further.
Well every 35 pt game I have ever played had a unit of these in it…When against menoth,
My Cryx really take a beaten usually with these and that crossbow pops my pistol wraiths like you say and they can chew through bane knights or thralls pretty well at range.
However I usually through trial and error learned to just throw my seether and deathjack at em for the grind. You got to get into base contact with them on the charge.
I do better against them with my Trollbloods my 35 pt list pounds them pretty good .
