Happy new year Darrell! Even thou it’s designed for fantasy some parts can still cross over into other settings. The fire can be for a hunting team or even a crash survivors fire.
Also that be taters around that fire not rocks!
From personal experience, potatoes cooked on a camp fire without the miracle of tin foil taste pretty much like rocks anyway…
If I was GMing with these, they’d go inside a dungeon with no sign of the party to make the players slow down and prepare for whatever happened to the three who belong to the bedrolls. Maybe not even a big nasty nearby, just use it as a little mind game to make the players waste time/mana etc looking for the former occupants of the camp.
Looks good, though I’d have to use green-stuff to make the bed rolls look like the party doesn’t seek out graves to sleep ontop of. Seriously, it looks like someone’s just found the stone slab of a Fantasy grave site to drop their bedroll on. they’re amazing sculpts and deserve the attention to make them look like they’re more natural. Like, a sloped side to the slab-like rectangle that they’re moulded on. Also, Darrell, as a fellow Necrontyr fanatic, can we please have some more tactics on using them with the new codex? Sorry to say this but Immortals are only permissible at a maximum of 10 per squad, and all have to be equipped the same way, the only guy that can change it up is Anraykr the Traveller, who can give you the Pyrrhian Eternals, but that’s just an upgraded squad of Immortals.
Got to admit though I will be thinking of using an overlord as a proxy for Orikan the Diviner for the Temporal Snares 😉
